There’s a writer living inside you. Let’s meet them and set them free.

I work with a handful of writer’s each year (most of whom don’t call themselves writers— just sayin’).

Each writing mentorship is unique, but at their core our aim is always the same:

1. To set you free;

2. To find the signature voice of your writer self and set it free; and

3. To use that voice to set the stories living inside of you free.

We are all creatives, we all have a song, and we are all designed for expression. Let’s write.

All writing mentorships are custom. Peek at the below options, use them to spark ideas, and then email me to book a conversation— steph@stephjagger.com

Option Three: Thought Partnership & Developmental Editing

For those who have words on the page - lots of them - and are looking for a boutique developmental editing experience that comes with thought partnership, depth coaching, and capacity building.

If you’re gonna to translate the truths inside of you, and attempt to gather them onto a page in a cohesive way— trust me, it’s helpful to be held through the process.

Each of the books I’ve written, and each of books I’ve helped others write, have deeply benefited from the following types of support:

O A visionary and part-time mystic;

O Someone who can pull patterns from chaos and knows the next step;

O A guide who has been steeped in story and knows how to help translate truth.

O An intuitive, developmental editor/book doula;

O A person willing to call bull-shit with compassion and heart; and

O A nurturing soul who’s not afraid to go deeper.

If you’re looking for any of the above (or something a little different), email steph@stephjagger.com to book an exploratory call or read on for some ideas.

O Developmental Manuscript Read - for those who are able to submit a full draft of their work— A.K.A. a minimum of 15,000 words that are shaped (it’s okay if it’s patchy) from beginning to end.

O Developmental Manuscript Read + Private Writing Retreats - all of the above, plus a private, in-person retreat with hands-on creative shaping, structural support

To note: Pricing starts at $1,500 and flexes from there depending on length of manuscript and inclusion of a retreat.

Client Testimonials

Lauren Marie Fleming

“There is no doubt that my work with Steph has propelled me forward creatively. I’m in a place where I really know my gut intinct and intuitive voice as an author. Steph is divinely magical and has made me a better writer and human.”

Patti Hall

“Steph Jagger is the island in the storm. She is a safe haven from which to be challenged. She is intensity blended with impartial compassion. She will inspire, she will motivate, and she will watch in awe as you draw the answers, words and stories you seek from within yourself.”

Kristina Avramovic Oldani

“Unmatched in any other editorial relationship I've had. Never has criticism been delivered more lovingly nor proven more useful. Hands down the most nurturing creative environment I've worked in.”

Kim DeYoung

“Working with Steph was a transformative. Her direction and guidance within the pages of my manuscript were instrumental in supporting me as an author. Together we took my book to a new level, one that far exceeded my expectations. I am forever grateful.”

Sandra O’Donnell

“Could I have finished my memoir without Steph? Possibly. But I’m certain the book that emerged after working with her is far richer, deeper, and will resonate more with readers than anything I could have created on my own. She is a powerful holder of space for writers— nurturing and wise, honest and straightforward. I got to tell my FULL story.”

Books I’ve helped bring into this world

When we’re preparing to let a river of creativity course through us, it’s best to ensure the banks will hold. Consider this a place to do just that.

I can’t wait to watch you and your pages come to life.

P.S. If you want to write but are shaking too much in the ink well, consider my Private Practice. Developing a knowing of (and comfort level with) the stories that live inside us, is often the first step in letting them out.
